Claudia Missailidis is a Brazilian visual artist and photographer, currently based between France and Greece.

Her artistic practice investigates the image as a territory of listening, where memory, time, and desire intertwine. Through an intimate visual language, she creates narratives that emerge from the relationship between presence and absence, revealing the affective and symbolic traces that remain within human experience.

Her work explores the subjective layers of existence, engaging with themes of intimacy, dreams, and affection, as well as the tensions between imagination and reality. For the artist, photography becomes an act of transformation: a space of encounter, fabulation, and re-signification, where the visible opens onto what continues to exist beyond the image.

She holds a degree in Visual Arts from Veiga de Almeida University (Brazil) and specialized in Artistic and Contemporary Photography at the Fluminense Society of Photography. She also completed studies in Curatorship in Visual Arts at the Federal University of the Recôncavo da Bahia (UFRB) and Cultural Project Management at the Federal Institute of Goiás (IFG). Her academic background includes studies in Biology and Physics at the State University of Rio de Janeiro (UERJ), a multidisciplinary path that informs a practice where conceptual rigor and sensitivity coexist.
